Our Story

Mazark & Associates Architects is a small firm with big ideas, located in Melbourne’s suburb of Balwyn. The practice was founded in 2006 by its director Angelo Mazarakis and has been operating since.

Mazark & Associates Architects Pty Ltd is a design and service focused practice that delivers architectural solutions to its clients, ensuring tailored buildings outcomes.

The work ethos towards every project is one of commitment to interpret project limitations in an inventive and intelligent response.

Its success lays in unlocking key client needs, wants and aspirations. Furthermore, its success lays in unlocking the commercial & the economic benefit of development sites.

Led by its Director, the practice has worked throughout Metropolitan Melbourne, Regional Victoria, Mornington Peninsula and the Surf Coast.

Our Services

Mazark & Associates Architects has the capacity to deliver on small to large scale projects, drawing on its director’s broad experience and the utilising the specialised expertise of its consultants.

We provide services that span from Town Planning to Building Permit and Construction Phases of any project.

Most proposals trigger town planning permit requirements. At Mazark & Associates Architects, the Town Planning Process is second nature to our daily operations.

Our use of specialist Town Planners, our co-operative approach with Councils, and our working history is one of mutual respect, which positions our proposals towards favourable outcomes.

Angelo Mazarakis

Angelo Mazarakis B.A.(Arch.) B.Arch. is a Registered Architect (ARBV)with broad experience. He has worked in Melbourne Architectural Practices since 1996, until forming Mazark & Associates Architects Pty Ltd. His past experience ranged from residential, commercial, to institutional.

Angelo’s design flare, and attention to detail from design to construction delivers projects of a high calibre. Angelo’s practical nature is one that is relatable to clients through to builders and subcontractors.

Angelo’s approach to design is an integrated approach across the fields of architecture, town planning, interior design and landscape design. He has a sound technical understanding in construction, and extensive knowledge of the regulations and approvals process.
